About Zester
A better way to save and organize recipes.
Why We Built Zester
Recipe collection is broken. Cooks save recipes across TikTok bookmarks, Instagram saves, browser bookmarks, note apps, and screenshots — none of which are designed for cooking.
Zester was built to solve one problem: give home cooks one place to save every recipe they find, from any source.
No more scrolling through TikTok to find that one pasta video. No more blurry screenshot folders. No more retyping ingredients from a blog post.
What Makes Zester Different
- Source-agnostic: Paste a link, upload an image, or type text. Zester handles it all.
- Clean by design: We strip clutter and keep what matters: ingredients, steps, and your notes.
- Cooker-focused: Offline access, shopping lists, scaling — features designed for the kitchen, not the feed.
Who Zester Is For
Zester is for anyone who cooks at home and finds recipes in more than one place. If you save recipe links, take screenshots of dishes, or have a box of handwritten family recipe cards, Zester is for you.
It is also for cooks who want to move away from ads, algorithm feeds, and infinite scroll — and back to a simple, focused recipe app.
The Team
Zester is built by a small independent team. We are home cooks ourselves, and we build features we actually use in our own kitchens.
